[News] Mediator Tat Lim elected as Chair of International Mediation Institution (IMI)

On October 31st, the Board of Directors of International Mediation Institution (IMI) has unanimously elected Mr. Tat Lim – VMC Mediator - as the new Chair. 

Vietnam Mediation Center (VMC) would like to congratulate Mr. Tat Lim with his new position and wish him success in the promotion of ADRs in general and mediation in particular in dispute resolution. 

Before being elected as Chair, Mr. Tat Lim has had notable roles such as Member of Mediation Committee Advisory Board, International Bar Association (IBA), Chairperson of Society of Mediation Professionals of Singapore, and Member of Board of Directors of Singapore Mediation Center (SMC). He was also honored by Who’s Who Legal as Global Elite Thought Leader in commercial mediation in 2024 and was recognised in The Legal 500 – The Client’s Guide to the Asia Pacific Legal Profession in 2016.

Mr. Tat Lim is currently serving as Mediator at Vietnam Mediation Center (VMC) of Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC), International Mediator at Maxwell Mediators in Singapore, and Managing Partner at Aequitas Law LLP in Singapore.
